College with many different exciting courses

Hertford Regional College was formed in the early 1990's with the merging of Ware College and East Herts College. The College is based at two sites in Hertfordshire in Broxbourne and Ware.

About the College

Herts Regional College (or HRC) offers a range of full-time study programmes, apprenticeships, higher education qualifications and part-time courses. These courses are designed to prepare students for progression to their chosen career. Subjects that are taught include Art and Design, Business, Catering, Hairdressing, Performing Arts, Sports, Teacher Training and much, more. There is a dedicated building at the Ware Campus for students living with learning difficulties and disabilities. In 2015, HRC partnered with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. This was to create a Football Development Centre, combining academic and sporting qualifications. This partnership offers students the opportunity to train at Tottenham Hotspur's official training ground and also to be taught by experienced coaches.

Ware Campus

The Ware campus is in the town centre and is home to the Creative Arts and Enterprise building. This campus offers state of the art training facilities in subjects including Fine Art, Photography, Visual Merchandising, Graphic and 3D Design, Games Design and Hair, Beauty and Media Make-Up.

Broxbourne Campus

The Broxbourne campus houses all of the college's STEM facilities. These include Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Construction and Electrical workshops. As well as this there are the science laboratories, Michael Morpurgo Theatre, TV and recording studios, Childcare and Health & Social Care suites, gym and sports hall and a JetBlue air cabin. The jet cabin is an 18 seat aircraft cabin that has been lifted straight from a real British Airways plane.

Inspires Salon

The college's Inspires Salon features five hairdressing salons and six beauty salons. This is open to the public and offers a wide variety of treatments using professional brands.
