Colleges

The colleges are based all over the County. Many have taken on transformations over the years, moved sites and merged together. The colleges will offer a large range of full-time study programmes, apprenticeships, higher education qualifications and part-time courses. The courses are designed to prepare students for progression to their chosen career. Subjects taught vary between each college. Many colleges in Hertfordshire will include courses in Art and Design, Business, Catering, Hairdressing, Sports, Performing Arts and Teacher Training to name but a few. All the colleges in Hertfordshire have dedicated buildings and also cater for students living with learning difficulties and disabilities. One college even offers an academic and sporting qualifications that is in partnership with a premiership football club.
